I in IDSL is ISDN which allows the longer distances.

The newer BIOS reflect the newer revision A7Vs with builtin CPU temp probes. Direct temperature readings on the newer boards are "inaccurate" due to being below the CPU, and also slower, etc.

More voltage, higher stability to a certain point. They also have higher VIO than 3.3V.
AMD specs the Socket A Athlons at 1.75V.

Its likely the same header as the other newer S7 boards. I suspect I could move the 3$ header I bought for my TX97E onto my P/I-P55T2P4 and still have it work.

Make sure BIOS virus detect is disabled and try installing on the VIA controllers instead of Promise.

Sounds similar to problems also occurring oon the Sigma Designs Hollywood +. You might look there for some more info but IIRC problems were due to the "special feature" software on the Maxtrix.

No CAPs!
Your PCI divider is likely 1/3 so 133/3=~44MHz--which can fry the hard drives. Depends on the motherboard, which might also expain the corrupt BIOS.

Look in your manual or the Asus website. Or use the 3rd party PowerNow utiltity for dynamic multiplier setting.
