First off.. trial and error is the gonna give you the best answer for you. Try it both ways and run assorted apps and see what you percieve as the better option. My money is on the 1g pc3200 @400 fsb

You got me thinking back... The first PC I made was a 386SX/25 later upgraded with a co-processor (WHOOT!!) Damn was I pissed when it didn't do a damn thing to speed up the system :P

I've had a couple nightmares dealing with on-line vendors, so once I found someone I felt I could trust (newegg) I stopped looking elsewhere.

If I understand it correctly, the common belief is that powering fans through the motherboard, as you can imaging, puts a draw on the system that can degrade it's performance... say in the direction...
