512 MB RAM
ASUS CUSL2 motherboard
40 GB harddrive (5400 rpm)
ATI RADEON 64mb DDR...

Yah, you can watch tv with the one with VIVO (video-in, video-out)... there's no tuner, but you can watch tv. It's a sweet card, love mine.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Stick w/ Win98... you'll likely own some games that aren't gonna like Win2k and that will piss you off. Win98 is the dominate game platform now anyways... I think...

That I've never heard of... and in Uni I knew lots of people doing exactly what you said and never had that problem... heck, I know one guy who had the latest of everything throughout 4 yrs of Uni...
