whitch one's got the best bang for the buck?
i play Red Faction,Quake2/3,Unreal Tournament,RTCW,MoHAA,Ghost Recon,various flight sims...
will be used on a XP1800 and 17" monitor @1024 max,usually 800x600...
ATI RADEON 9000 pro 128meg,or Geforce FX 5200 128MB?
both of them are the same price...

the fx5200 is a much better deal but try to find a 64mb ti4200 for that price instead, if not, see if you can get a ti500 or radeon8500. ti500s are a little faster but I hear 8500s have better af and IQ. If all you play is old games and you already have at least a geforce, do nothing, else get what I said. fx5200 if you cant get anything else

both of them are the same price...
Radeon 9100 128meg can be found for around $70. The FX is a faster card, but the 9100 is a better card. Stay away from the 9000.

Get a Ti4200 for around $85 if possible. You would also have the option of a GF3 or an 8500. Both of them should be better than the low 9000 series Radeon cards and the 5200.

get a 9600 only if you really like aa, otherwise a ti4200 is much better
