    I don't know I think the HDR looks pretty dang good in oblivion. I don't think those pictures do it justice. I think I notice it most inside houses and caves where there are torches and lights and you can really tell a more dramatic difference. And when things are in motion of course that changes things as well how things flicker and what not seems more alive with it on.

    I turn it off and my frames go up but the game looks so much more lifeless and a lot more like morrowind.

    You're right XJ, those pictures don't do justice. HDR is a light effect. Why taking screenshots when its dark.
    I think HDR in Oblivion is looking very good, Indoors and outdoors. Especially when the sun goes down behind the trees.
    First I played with 1280x1024+bloom+4xAA
    Now i'm playing with 1920x1440+HDR..... I love it!! Almost no jagies with this resolution. It looks like 1280x1024+2xAA I think.
