    FWIW, most decent receivers come with this capability now. The Onkyo I just set up last week had this and I got very familiar with the setup function since I was installing speakers and moving things around a bit at first. Just plug in the mike and it runs a couple test sounds through each speaker. It automatically sets delays based on distance and also frequency cutoffs depending on your speakers.

    Everyone gets that way. May last turner was a Kenwood that lasted over 10 years as a main piece. I've just spent 4 weeks reading every review I could find in the sub-$1000 range, so I'm up to speed now. But 6 months from now? Eh, in the dark again.
