    Which is the best motherboard for Athlon XP?

    I have an Athlon XP 1900+ and I MIGHT have a problem with my current motherboard (MSI K7T266 Pro 2 Raid). If I do, I will need to purchase another motherboard. I would like to know which is currently the best Athlon XP motherboard that supports at least 3GB of PC2100 DDR RAM. Anyone know?

    I know someone here will probably hang me for this, but go to Anandtech.com or Tomshardware.com and look in their motherboard section for a good line-up of the latest and greatest AMD mobos.

    Look at the A-bit KR7-RAID or Epox 8KHA+

    Asus A7V266-E

    Haven't had one single issue with the one I have, other than having to disable "Plug and Play OS" in the BIOS.

    Lightbulb

    Just built a machine today with a Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Plus, which is highly rated, and it's great. Flawless performance with lots of goodies--great onboard sound, NIC, and RAID--for only $142.

    kt266a = Epox 8kha+
    kt333 = Epox 8kha3+
    Either way Epox has great boards...stability, ocing, and performance.
