    Apollo radeon 8500??

    the apollo radeon 8500...is it any better or worse than the official ati radeon 8500?? Does it overclock better?? please help thanks

    If this is the graphics card you're referring to, then it uses the 8500LE gpu that runs at 250/250Mhz while the Ati R8500 Retail uses the 8500 gpu that runs at a higher rate of 275/275Mhz. The Ati R8500 Retail also oc higher than the other card even without mem heat-spreaders, cuz it runs hynix mem at 3.6ns while the Apollo uses 4.0ns mem. I hope this helps.
