    Help!

I installed a viewer that I no longer want to use, so I uninstalled it. Now all my .jpegs, and .gifs file have a windows icon and when I want to open the file, I get a program not found message (program was the one I uninstalled) I now have PhotoShop & paintshop pro and want to use either of these for a viewer. How can I make either of these my default viewer????

    Thanks for your reply!

Open up Windows Explorer (not IE), and click on Tools --> Folder Options. Select the File Types tab, find the entries for JPG, etc., and delete them. The next time you double-click a file type that you deleted in that window, you'll be prompted to select a program to open it. Select Photoshop or PSP (whichever you prefer) and make sure to select the option to always use that program to open files of that type.
