Optical Mouse and Bass do not mix

Has anyone else has this problem before? When I have my speakers pumped up, my optical mouse is very bouncy. The subwoofer is vibrating my desk which is causing the jumping, I believe. Can this be fix with an optical mouse pad or should I just keep the bass turned down a notch? What's the point of having a game with a great soundtrack if you can't turn it up? It seems that the optical mouse / good sound system mix doesn't work.

It's a logitech optical mouse in case anyone was wondering.

Did IQ's suddenly drop while I was away...

If turning the volume up loud enough to vibrate your entire desk and causes mouse problems, then YES turn the volume down

Have you tried adjusting the mouse sensitivity down?

Hmmm, Adjust the mouse sensitivity down, I didn't even think of that!!! I will try that once I crank it up again. The sub woofer is on the floor but tends to shake everything anyway. The desk is wood and metal and seems to vibrate with the floor. I live in an apartment building so I guess I should be cooling it anyway. But I am going to try and lower the sensitively cause once the weekend rolls around the Klipsch's 5.1's get to flex there stuff.

    Thanks for the help,
