manually changing irq in registry
Hey there-
Windows 2000 decided to place my scsi adapter, network card, and video card all on IRQ 9. There is no way to change this in the BIOS, or within Win2k, so I figured a simple registry hack would take care of it, however I have been looking in the registry for an hour to no avail as to where to make the change. Does anyone know where this can be done in the registry?
Thanks in Advance,
David P.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services is where i have had to do it in the past. If you can not find it there try to find "InterruptNumber" in your registry.

Doesn't win2k and xp allow IRQ sharing with no problems? Thats what ive always heard...so it shouldn't be a problem should it? correct me iff wrong.
