Realplayer for playing movies

I think realplayer plays smoother than WMP at least in my case. So I think i'll be using realplayer for playing movie clips. Sometimes I can't play a movie clip and will get an error message that says "MPEG by Bitcasting: File Format cannot find MPEG file header. This may not be an MPEG file." What does that mean and what can I do about the problem?

LOL for playing MPEG's perhaps but for DivX movies your kiddin me cuz I could run on my old 500Mhz machine a DivX movie flawlessly on WMP but with Real Player it was so jumpy its not funny. Heh its just guess those idiots dont know how to program and suck up SOOO MUCH memory and CPU power for running even the basic things like Mp3's, live feeds (video/music) and the likes.

oh definitely for DiVx I would use WMP also. When I use realplayer for 10 sec movie clips it seems to work fine and is not jumpy either.

Ohh ok you mean definitally you use WMP or RP with DivX lol? Couldn't quite understand the answer but yeah for other clips RP rocks but gawd I hate the ads, bugger screens and the way even if I tell it to stop and even manual change my files to play with something else like out of nowhere it resets itself! That is why I can't wait for internet/computer laws. Shyt I mean if thats what we need to stop these fricken companys who are forcing us to turn into hackers to rid there crap let the government in it. I dont approve of the government either but hell at least it makes rules that give us power.

I recomend just using WMP. Realplayer has too much advertising and uses up too much power.
