Nice work man! Thats some good cutting/bolting there. And, if i may say, the green is very snazzy looking. Bravo!!!
As for the carpet... I leave my comptuer on the carpet, and usually before i boot it up, I rub my cat on my hair a few times and stick him on the side.
PS: Try focusing the camera on the side panel with the lights on, then without changing the focus (You might have to hold the shutter button down half-way on auto-focus cameras) turn off the lights. Then take the picture. That will keep the flash from ruining the picture.

Obviously GaryCalx didn't read the thread, he didn't cut and bolt anything. He purchased the Sidepanel from Newegg. I opted for the same Sidepanel for BigBlue when I bought the case at a computer show.
Love the Green CC, you planning on painting the case Green??
Here's my Sidepanel you can't see the Blue CC but it looks good.

How does your cat reduce static? Or is this a Joke?
Anyway, nice choice in lighting Goofas. Most people, my self included, would probably just ge blue or something, but I think the green really works for your case.
I wish I had a spaceship.
