    office xp?

    Hi,

    Sometime when ever i go into word a box pops up loading/installing a new microsoft word feature can someone tell me why it does this, when i installed office xp i installed it the full option.

    when you were installing word, did you click on the + and tell it to install every feature? That is likely why it is not totally installed...

    but if you highlight the box for complete installation it should install everything, which it does for me. I dont know why it would do that unless something is going wrong during installation

    Yeah and if he did a full install, it is likely that he installed a macro that queries the MS server for updates to the software at intialization of the software.

    Me thinks you need to find someway to disable that quering or, you need to *shivers* reinstall and disable that.
