    Question Help with RedHat Linux

Now I know there's a good handful of Linux flavors. I am an extreme novice when it comes to Linux. I can pretty much master the Micrsoft world, dos/windows tricks are a plenty in my tool box. Now when Linux comes into the picture I can't do crap. I can install it and that's about it. I once tried to update my nvidia drivers and the OS is hosed. heheh. Anyways, for you Linux folk, what is the BEST book for someone to start out at ground zero? I prefer to use KDE as the GUI, but GNOME is ok. I would really like to know how the file systems work and what files mean what, etc. I basically want to get my Linux knowledge up to par with my MS knowledge. Could I get some help?? Thanks!!

I'm not quite starting from ground zero, having worked with RedHat since 5.0, but the "Bible" books are great. Finally upgraded to 7.2 recently and I've found Red Hat Linux 7.2 Bible (by Christopher Negus, Hungry Minds publishing) very helpful. I have an old Using Linux book that came with RH 5.2 CDs by Que publishing and found that one very helpful too. Not sure if this series is still being published, though.
