Either get an 8500 128mb or a 8500le 128 mb. Or you can wait for the 9500 pro.

HP Pavilion 9800|1.3ghz P4|384 RDRAM|Radeon 9000pro 128 MB|15" monitor (12" viewable )|30 gig HD|Windows ME (Cheaper than Windows 98!)|12 DVD-ROM|52/24/52 CD-RW|Nice buttons
There are a few coming out this Christmas, there's the 9500, 9500pro, 9700, 9700pro, and finally the AIW 9700 Pro (that's the one that I'm gonna get, heh heh). But, only the 9700pro is out, so as of today, your best bet is to get another 8500.
are the 9000's models' better... and how much are these cards that u are talking about.... i dont' wanan spend more than 200... that's gonna be my limit for vid card... how much are these 9500s? thx

The R9500 Pro should be ~$200 when actually start selling. But then they're not all that much faster than even a Ti4200, and the Ti4200 are cheap. so if you want the DX9 maybe look for the R9500 Pro, otherwise the Ti4200 would be better, but you don't want any nVidia cards... So get a R8500 128MB BBA if you want to spend a bit less for less performance.
