How much $$$ does he want to sell it to you for? Is your p-4 a 2.4 "A" or 2.4 "B". The "A" is the 400 fsb. The "B" is the 533 fsb. If you have the "A" you will gain some. If you have the "B" wouldn't that big of a upgrade. But if its cheap enough go for it.

Sorry its late i just noticed its the 533fsb. Still if its cheap enough get it otherwise it isn't that much of a upgrade for big $$$. Will your mobo take the 2.8?

remember me?
How much does he want for. The most I'd pay is $300 because it isn't that much of a performance increase.

Unless it's less than $100, I wouldn't get it. 400Mhz isn't worth it at all.
