    encoding vcd

how long should it take an xp1600 at 1771 mhz to encode a 235mb avi file to vcd. it took me more than 45 minutes, which seems a little too long. is there any way to help this?

edit: nevermind, the vcd won't work on my dvd player or ps2 anyway.
