    Question about UPSs...

My gf is in charge of the UPSs they get from APC and she keeps getting a message saying that the load is above 100%. Does this mean that the UPS is not able to power all of the servers that are connected to it because it exceeds its maximum power output? Does this also mean that she either needs to have two UPS (each handling half the servers) or upgrade to 1 bigger UPS? That was my theory, just wondering if it was correct. Thanks.

yes it means that the devices are drawing more power than the UPS can handle. just get a second (getting a bigger one still leaves you with 2 ) and slipt the load.
If your sig is longer than your post then type more.

    Thanks for the reply .

I had no idea if you could even hook up two UPS since I have no clue how to even hook them up. I thought you might only be able to have 1 connected to everything instead of being able to split it :-P.
