Problem with Logitech MX700 mouse?
I have a Logitech MX700 mouse, the optical wireless with rechargeable base one. I love everything about it except 1 thing: The scroll wheel is choppy!
Let me explain:
With my MS Optical mouse when I give the scroll wheel a spin it'll scroll instantly through a webpage with 100% responsiveness. My Logitech mouse has a very annoying delay. For example if I give the wheel a big spin it'll delay..scroll..delay...scroll some more, etc.
Also, if I try scrolling one "scroll wheel tick" at a time, sometimes the first 1 or 2 ticks won't register.
Finally, the scrolling function seems to take a lot of my CPU power! If I'm playing a movie and I open a webpage and start scrolling up and down, the movie will start chopping. My MS mouse didn't do this!
Aaaagh this is so annoying! Someone please tell me if I have a faulty mouse or if this is normal for Logitech mice!
Let me add that my settings are exactly the same as my MS Mouse: the scroll wheel is set to scroll "3 lines at a time".
Thanks in advance,
Tudor

Thanks OS-Wiz, that worked. Very responsive now. I can't believe I didn't have the latest drivers, could have sworn I checked.
Thanks!
