Question using DVI + VGA ports on same card at once

bit of a noobish question but i'm looking to setup dual monitors on my computer for the first time. I have a MSI Ti4200 with both a VGA and DVI port on it. My question is can I attach a CRT to the VGA port and another CRT to the DVI port using a DVI/VGA converter? Can you use both ports on the same card at once or do i have to buy another video card for this? I know you can buy dual headed VGA cards but I don't really want to buy another card....

The GeForce4 Ti has dual RAMDACs for cards that have more than one display output. As for determining if your DVI connection can support a CRT monitor, you have to make sure your DVI connector is DVI-I, not DVI-D. DVI-D will not work with a DVI to VGA converter, only DVI-I.

    This is DVI-I:
