    deleting a NET USE connection

    I entered the following command:

    net use lpt1: \\server\printer

Anyone know how to delete this connection? I tried:

    net use lpt1: \\server\printer /delete

but i keep getting this error:

"A command was used with conflicting switches. More help is available my typing NET HELPMSG 3510."

    The O/S is NT 4.0 with SP4.

    Any ideas?

I haven't been around NT for a long time so this may not work.

    From a command window

    type NET USE
    You'll see the printer connection.

    type NET USE <printer connection> /DELETE
Do not use the device name.
