    DLT3Cs?

what do you think the odds are that the CPUs > this place < is shipping would really be a DLT3C? good? $45 shipped would be an awesome price. or do you think it's one of those things where someone just got that stepping from one of the early chips or an invoice or something and it's been there on the website as a product number ever since?

I looked at the specs sheet:

    URL: Manufacturer Link

    SKU: DAX1700DMT3C

Umm...I wouldn't trust them. It's either a T-bred A or a palomino given the current data. If you look in the comments section it has negative comments.

maybe it's even a palomino! i just clicked the "specs sheet" and it says palomino DAX1700DMT3C. i don't think they even know what they're selling.

    >talldude: yep.

resellerratings had them in the 6-point something range. for a $40 CPU i'd probably risk it, esp. if they were selling tbred-bs and didn't know it.

I wouldn't risk it from them. T-Bred B JIUHB 1800+s were at Newegg, if you're going to risk it, you'd have a better chance of getting a B at Newegg.

Some have done 2.5Ghz, most haven't though. They're as good as any other TbredB really.

Unless you get a JIXIB, there isn't really any difference.

I'm currently at 2.343GHz at 1.7v with mine. I'll see what it can do when I get my SF2 in the mail either tomorrow or the next day.

i'd skip those chips, looks like risky business, pally or t-bred a...

i'd say your best chance of getting a good stepping right now is to get one at excaliberpc (you'll pay a price premium for one, but you know you'll get on), or newegg....they were selling retail 1800+ chips not too long ago that were JIXIB steppings (i know, i got one ), but it looks like they're only selling OEM's right now...still though, i don't think newegg has had anything other than tbred-b chips for quite some time now, so it's definately a better chance than the one you linked.
