Is there any way to use an isa item in a pci spot?
i have an old radio reveal card that i like to use (its a radio card, has antenea, not an internet connection)just plugs in line in on sound card...new 815 chipset cards seem to lack an isa slot... any help on how to get this card to work with some kind of adapter would be helpful,or another stand alone pci radio card in the 40.00 range.
thanks in advance....

Never heard of an ISA to PCI adapter of any kind before. I sincerely doubt they exist. Good luck.

PCI and ISA are so different it ain't funny.. although we had a customer... he went though 2 videocard before he realized he can't plug PCI cards into ISA slots...
What a bummer
There's absolutely NO way to plug any component in non complient slot. If then made an adapter, there would be fitting problems since, physically, ISA is lower than PCI, for the purpose of sharing case slots. Also, there's a different number of pins, different frequency, different bus, different controller. Do yourself a favor and buy a transistor radio.

Agreed. ISA runs at 12Mhz (I believe) and PCI at 33.

I'm all for being cheap. But come on, putting an ISA card into a PCI slot, thats were I draw the line. Get a new card they prolly wont run you more than $40.
