Raptor-like games?
has anyone played the old classic game called raptor? It was like a 2D game when ur a plane n u shoot stuff..it was amazing!
Is there any other games such as that that was really good? (side scrolling 2D)
-
YES! I bought the full version. Very fun, but it did get hard at later levels. And no, I have have seen no decent scrolling games for a very long time.

raptor was a good game but WAYYYYY TOO EASY
once you upgrade to homing machine guns and shield packs, you are pretty much unstopppable

starmonkey run on my Winxp Pro with Radeon 9800pro fine.
and try Ultra Assault from the same company.
tho it may look nice but it don't have much substance interms of enemy variety and weapons. (I think both games have like 2 different main weapon and 2 other missles)
but all in all both games looks decent but not really good games.
btw: Rapto was a cool game back in the days.
where can I download it as abandonwarez?

Awesome.

That ship in that game looked to be a total ripoff of Einhander (my favorite SHMUP), so I was waiting for that game for a helluva long time, and guess what? IT WAS NEVER RELEASED!!!
