What the hell does this mean?!!?

So im playing ninja gaiden on chapter 6 I think (just after you get that flail weapon), when I'm going back up that elevator thinging whoopin up on some mummies when out of no where I'm stuck in black space falling constantly with the screen blinking "ECONTRA BABEL SPECUS". I can't do anything but fall.... WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN!?

Is this supposed to happen!?

Have you tried to clean the cd maybe it's smudged or scratched at that spot?

Yes if that's part of the game and there is a smudge or scratch on it then it could cause the game to stay in a loop there.

I've beat the game twice now and that's never happened to me, so I think you found a bug in the game. ECONTRA BABEL SPECUS is the name of the area, I think you have a loading error, make sure the disc is clean and there are no scratches. Does it happen everytime you enter the area?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was a loading error. I must have been whoopin on those mummies too hard and they went cryin to mah xbox! That is the first time I had gotten that far, so I don't know if it will happen again. I'm hoping not!
