    Comp Wont' work

    So i downloaded the new drivers for my ATI Radeon 9800 PRO and installed them and installed the drivers for my new mobo and now when i turn my computer on it either comes up with a fatal error about my graphics and then the monitor turns off but the power is still on...or my monitor just turns off while i am trying to log in...what is wrong with it? it wasn't performing well before but now it won't even work...help

    Things you can do:

    Reset the cmos chip.

    Try an older driver.

    Definetly sound like a badd driver.
    Try the cat 4.2 or 4.4 drivers

    my computer won't stay on long enough for me to get it off the net so is there a way that i can go back to what i had bfore and then go find a newer but not the newest driver?

    What you can do is reset the CMOS chip, then boot into safe mode.

    That way you can easily remove the bad video card drivers, set the video card to boot into VGA mode, and then install some older video card drivers.
