Speakers Question....

Hi! I own Cambridge Soundworks DTT2500 5.1 speakers by Creative. They had problems cutting in and out, so I bought new speakers, Altec Lansing 5.1 (251). I'm just curious what would happen if I tried to hook up just the satellites from the DTT2500 to this system. Would it blow it up? Would it work? I think the DTT2500 speakers are more powerful. Let me know!

it should "function"..

there might be issues with the impedance of one satellite speaker brand vs the other though.. that would affect sound performance and possibly cause an amplifier to work harder than necessary..


its worth a try though..
