Quit surfing the porn and you won't need to!

No realy, in control panel there is an icon called internet options. Open that and on the first tab there is a history section where you can delete the history. If you surf alot of porn you might want to set it so it doesn't keep the history for more than a day.

you can also do this from, tool, then options in IE

In Explorer, go to Tools> Internet Options> Content> then click on the Autocomplete button. From there you can clear autocomplete forms or passwords, or you can enable/disable any autocomplete entries.

EDIT: Though you requested a how to on deleting histories, I think you meant the autocomplete entries. Deleting history will not delete Autocmplete entries stored.

Thanks for the replies but maybe I did'nt explain properly, I was refering to the history on various search engines [google etc] which keep a list of items you have searched for , it's not removed by deleting history [have mine set to keep no history] and is not removed by deleting cookies?

delete the cookies from IE. The option is in the same place as mentioned above. Of course this will also make other sites "not remember" you also.

Activate the search box (double click), move the cursor down a few steps, press and hold "delete".
