    BF2 question. What are...

    Driver Special Ability Points?

Anyone really know? I can't seem to find information on what these are.

Not 100% sure, but i thought driving a transport with passengers. I dont know how long they need to stay in a vehicle for 1 point. Afaik you only need them for your Veteran transport badge.

Yeah, I know. That's why I was asking. I got my basic transport badge very shortly after I started playing, and I'm always driving around with people in vehicles, but to date I only have like 12 or 20 or something like that. My friend hasn't even gotten his basic transport, but has over 200 of the special ability points.

I'm not an award monger, but if I can get one along with fulfilling the team role of the game, I do. I'm just not sure what this particular item is.

In BF2, when you get in a vehicle as a Medic/Engineer/Support class it extends a radius around your vehicle that when you are close to a teammate you heal/repair/supply them. You get points for this.

According to my stats, i played about 83 hours. Almost 6 hours in transport and only 54 driver teamwork points.
Maybe you also get driver points when you are flying the blackhawk (with passengers of course).

Now that makes a little more sense.

I just noticed on the bf2 forum there was the same question, it seems that you need a medic/engineer/support IN your car. When he gets his repair/heal/supply point, you will get the driver special ability point.

check out www.bf2s.com, they have something called UBAR that has info on the ranks and upgrades, etc. Last I looked they described what the special ability points were.
