Since you've got an nForce board, do NOT install the ForceWare network tools. The firewall built into it corrupts any and all incoming and outgoing traffic.

As for third-party, Tiny makes a good x64 firewall, but it's only trial - $49.99 for the real thing.

I am using my router's hardware firewall...I never install the nforce3 firewall...

Then in that case you don't really need a software firewall unless you're ultra-paranoid about outgoing traffic.

i believe the nForce4 mobos (and SOME nForce3 mobos only) have that "ActiveArmor" stuff built in that i think Ashpool is talking about...not 100% sure though.
