    Extended Desktop with nVidia

Hey guys, I just installed a TV Tuner and am using BeyondTV to record/watch TV. It's great but I wanted it on a separate monitor. I have an extra LCD Monitor and my Geforce 6600GT has 2 inputs.

The problem is nVidia's drivers screw it all up. I want two Separate desktops that I can transfer stuff between. nVidia wants to stretch my desktop over two screens and that just screws everything up. Does anyone know how to let it do what I want? I do it at work with a laptop and a monitor but don't use this silly nVidia control panel.

    Thanks ahead of time

Open up the video settings, the first one nview display settings. Choose the one with 2 seperate monitors rather then a span.

Have you tried updating your drivers? Do both monitors even have a signal?

    The option is called dualview.

Right click on desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Click on your video card > nView Display Settings > nview display mode: dualview
