    convert .rar files to .avi

I downloaded a movie (RAR files) and want to create it on a dvd.
However, I cannot convert the RAR files to an AVI file to enable conversion to a dvd. It's probably something I am doing wrong and/or a system problem. I don't know which.
Any suggestions etc. will be appreciated.
    Thanks

RAR files are archive files. You have to use an archiving utility like winzip or winrar to extract the files from the archive and put them into something useable. If the resulting file is a movie file, then there's other utilities like Nero that will help you burn to a DVD. Hope this helps

Sounds like someone's increasing their 'movie' collection.

    I wish you were right.
Also, I should of have mentioned that I download via Flashget and winrar the download. I seem to have a lot of trouble when doing the winrar.
    Thanks.

I'm not following you exactly. When you extract the Winrar archive, are you saying it extracts to another Winrar archive? If so what does that extract to?

    Thanks for your reply.
Problem is the winrar conversion cannot find all of the different winrar's (e.g. .raro1 .rar02 etc.)to create a full Avi for subsquent processing to create a movie. I have done several similar winrar processes without a problem. Don't know what I am doing wrong. I hope this helps to understand my problem. If not I will try to do better.

If you are missing some files from the set, you're SOL. Unless there's also a parity set included -- same file names but a par2 extension instead or rar. Then you could download those and get QuickPar to rebuilt the missing rars.

I was VERY disappointed by that. Damn she's hot. I saw an interview with her, and she has no idea what's going on. So dumb....but in that cute sort of way. I'd hit it.

    WTB Keeley Hazell. PST.

Some day I hope to make a video with Keeley. Mine will be awesome though, and be shot in 1080i so I can watch it again and again and cheer myself on. I also will make sure to not release it as a set of RAR files.
