    Post 106s Drivers etc

I just got my system (below) up and running. It's going fine and I'm sorting out updates and things.

The DVD Rom is OEM and came without any drivers or anything. Using Me, do I have to download anything by way of software?

I downloaded some firmware flash from the Pioneer site ref A106v109. It's now 3.45am here and I'll install it tomorrow. I haven't found anything else yet though.

You don't need any drivers for that DVD drive at all. The generic windows drivers will work perfectly.

True you don't, but "Power DVD" is a really nice prog to have, you can get a bootleg of it from limewire, Kazaa, etc.

What about the flash update? Is it worth doing?

From your reply I'm guessing no.....
