    Compatibility Tab on Windows 7

I haven't made the jump to Windows 7 yet, but am looking into it. I am just wondering if the Home Premium version of Windows 7 has the compatibility tab option to run a program in an older version of Windows mode. I have read conflicting reports on Home Premium.

    Thanks.

More importantly - you mobo and cpu have to support VM....

Do the Step #2 test here:

The Compatibility tab should be there. The XP Mode thing is an entirely different feature. Essentially you install a virtual version of XP on your computer. From there, if you install programs within XP you can then run them from with 7.

    Thanks DarkSonic.

Thats what I was looking for....some people are saying its not there. I really don't care about the XP mode....I will probably dual boot XP x32 with 7 for awhile anyways.
