Are those Blood Bowl games any good? I have almost bought them a couple of times but have read talk of frustrating gameplay?

It's an exact replica of the board game, which is to say the luck of the dice can make things extremely frustrating.

If you're a fan of board games or the Warhammer Fantasy IP in general, the $5 cost of the Legendary Edition is worth it. Also note that the Chaos edition is the same exact game as the Legendary edition, just with 3 new races added in on top of the 20 existing ones. Both games are cross-compatible for multiplayer.

I started off slow on the Steam sale but I've ended up picking up a number of games, and I think if Far Cry 3 goes on repeat sale at noon today I'll probably buy that. GOG has been getting more of my holiday business this year than Steam has.
