Bought the GotY edition for myself and my brother.
Dunno how much we'll ever get around to playing it, but for $7.50, no tax, no S&H, who cares??
Same with AvP. Not the greatest, but for less than a Big Mac meal, yeah, I'll take it.
Love STEAM sales.

Hmmm ARMA II on sale. Pc gamer podcast raves about it...anyone here have it?
I went ahead and bought it. Downloading now. Got the full pack.
If the bugs are mostly under control and its not TOO much of a system hog, it sounds like the exact kind of game I would love.
I really enjoyed Operation Flashpoint and military shooters that don't have scripted sequences every 5 steps ala CoD and the Bad Company games, but I ranted about that in the other thead.
I'll post my impressions after spending some time with it.

Yeah, the scripted scenes do get lame after a while but I just enjoy blowing things up in bad company.
Mount&Blade for the weekend sale. Warband for $6, With Fire and Sword(out next week) for $13.50, or complete pack for $20.
I picked up the original when it was in beta a few years back and havent played since, probably because the game felt unfinished and clunky to me. Kinda tempted to pick up Warband and try it again.

The game had a neat idea, but it didn't feel like it was a professionally made game at all. It felt like playing an open source game.
