DO you still have a link to that google maps type site?
IIRC the link is http://www.darksavior.net/~minecraft/ (the URL is blocked on my current computer and it's just blank when I use my phone so not 100% sure).
Also IIRC James stopped updating it a while back so even if it loads I don't think it's totally current, though even if that's the case we didn't really do a whole lot of work after the last update.

Looks blank on my laptop as well.

As far as I know, it hasn't been updated in some time. I also don't know if it is accessible in its last updated state. I'm not sure if James has any intention on updating it or what it would take to enact any semblance of a map (i.e. rarely updated). I will let him weigh in.

I just love Minecraft. I even installed the mobile version. Just found the article where the Pokemon mod is described. Unfortunately it' available only for pocket edition of Minecraft. Does anybody knows are there such mods for Minecraft on the PC?

Awesome stat.
As for the sharky's map on darksavior, it's been down for awhile. Nobody was playing it, so I shut it down.
The actual "google maps" style map was shutdown before the Minecraft server itself in 2016, simply because it was so large that it was exhausting all the resources on the machine and triggering OOM killer.

Would be neat to get one final map screen shot of how large the world got.

That will take a machine with at least 32GB of RAM to render. Currently I sadly don't have a linux box at home that size. Darksavior only has 16GB of RAM.

What about doing different sections separately?

Yo James, is this something you could transfer to another machine to do? I'd throw up an AWS machine for you to do it on if you want to try that.

Those are both feasible. I think I might gain access to one soon as well. Give me a week or two.

James, were you ever able to get a final screen shot of the world?

A Minecraft realms server is $7.99/mo for "you and 10 friends" (I assume that means 11 total). Did we ever have more than 11 people on the server?
I think we could load the map into the java version (unless it's too big), but you can't load a java-world into the much more platform-friendly bedrock version of realms.
James, do you even still have the map files and/or read this forum?
If not, would anyone be interested in a new bedrock map instead?

Bedrock edition is windows 10/xbox/switch/android/ios/etc. Basically anything recent except PS4.
I set up a trial realm for myself and I've connected to the same world with Xbox, windows, and android (I don't have minecraft on switch (yet)) so I know the cross platform stuff works. And they're all the "real" version, not the limited "pocket" editions of old.
