You should be able to log back in now. It's over.

*Edit: Lol, or not. Just noticed that screenshot has a bed of TNT at the bottom of the hole.

*Edit2: And the bunker still stands!

Not on the server side. I might be able to fix that with some tweaks to the java command line.

What is the bunker, obsidian? Or can you spawn bedrock in inventory?

I extended the 2 lane road from the prez monuments further up, then hung a left and connected it to the "road to nowhere" where it goes under the Colossus. If anyone wants to extend it to their own monument/sculpture using the same scheme, go for it!

Also - Taggart what did you mean by color cloths?

Okay, I will officially kill a man with no regrets to have the ability to place lava like somebody did on top of the Adi building (I'm assuming an admin?).

I left one unused lava spawner in a crate somewhere. Adi, if you hate what I did to your structure, let me know and I can make it stop.

EDIT: Okay, there is 1 in plain sight, 1 slightly hidden and 128 hidden quite well (the 128 are all in the same crate).
Other admins: please do not summon more of these blocks, I want to see if anyone interested can locate all of them.

Oh come on I've been talking about needing lava since day one. YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!

I need 20 something of them. Plus at least 4 water spawners.

    And that wasn't my structure.

It was neat but I have some other things I'd like to do that make it difficult when I'M ON FIRE ALL THE TIME

I got rid of it - boy that was fun. Very resistant stuff as it seems to replenish itself out of thin air.

I rebooted the server this morning at 7:23am. It was acting all kinds of wonky. Constantly respawning blocks I had already knocked out with my pick, then making them disappear again, it seems like the java applet had just choked itself to death.

*Edit: Finally started putting up my building. Took forever to clear the floor plan.

Lava, like water, spawns from a source block, so once you find that it's just a matter of waiting for the slooooow flow to disappear.

However, unlike water, you can't create new lava source blocks; You're basically stuck with what you find. With water, all you have to do is make a 3x1 trough with source blocks on each end and the middle block becomes an infinitely renewable source of source blocks. So, once you find a source in lava, you've killed that individual flow; water can be harder to deal with since there could be sources near each other endlessly generating a new one but you can't really visually tell which is which.

Aw hell, that reminds me that I walked over a hill playing late at night yesterday and most of the ground on the other side wasn't showing up, so I got to see the entire underground network of tunnels with lava and water and such (I mentioned this happening before, as did somebody else I think). I grabbed a great screencap, but forgot to paste it into paint before I shut down.

Messing with explosives starts doing some wonky things to the server. Monroeski - check your PMs.
