    Welcome to my world! lol

Wait... Actually, that's both literal and figurative now that I think about it.

*Edit: Man I can't wait for Sandy Bridge. I think that I might repupose my old desktop parts and upgrade Darksavior after it comes out. We'll see.

    Updated server to 0.2.8.

    Buglist on the development blog.

Added /kill command. Does 1000 points damage to the player
    * Did some patching client side to prevent duplicated entities
    * The join server page now remembers the port as well as the ip
    * Fixed a bug where joining a server on a specific port caused the client to forget all keybindings
    * Added lakes and rare lava pools, both on the surface and randomly in caves.
    * Fixed a crash bug when destroying the vehicle from under a player
    * Players connecting to a server or respawning are invulnerable for three seconds
*Edit: Bolding is mine. Yay for remembering server port!

I've got a weird bug on the server where part of my fence isn't displaying. Can anyone else confirm if this is the case on their client?

What does that mean? Are "Lakes" just bigger pools of water than usual? And what's a rare lava pool (or does he just mean that they'll now show up on the surface, but rarely)?

    ::edit::
Going by the comments on the blog, it's just adding things to SMP that were previously in single player? Curious.

Possibly just small bodies of water. And yeah, I'm assuming he means lava lakes will appear on the surface rarely.

I can confirm. I also chopped part of it down because I had no idea what the invisible block was. I owe you a single piece of fence.

What's REALLY weird is that it breaks in the shape of the fence block. Its as if the actual model is there but the thing is completely transparent.

Try breaking a block near the fence but not the actual fence (maybe the ground beneath it?) I know whenever I see the huge swaths of blacked out blocks on cliffs and such if I go in there and hack out one block everything else instantly goes from black to the proper texture.

Anything that causes the lightmap to be recalculated should fix the invisible block syndrome.

For example, on my tree farm on the non-violent server, to get the bottom two rows of the stairs to show up, I put down 2 torches. Magically the invisible stairs appeared.

I honestly don't really care if there are trees or if there are no trees. I just don't really like random floating blocks on fire all over the place.
