Will I be able to max out most games with my Geforce 9800 GTX+ 512MB at 1024x768?

Ok before any says "why are you playing at that resolution?" it is because the Acer LCD I have in my signature only goes up that high ugh. I know, I need a new monitor.

Anyways, I currently have a Radeon HD 4350 512MB and have to use modest settings and I just won a Geforce 9800 GTX+ on eBay for $41! At a resolution of 1024x768 will I be able to turn up all the eye candy on my games?

Tracking shows it will be delivered on 03-23-12 so I am excited.

So will I be able to max games like MW3 and Skyrim out at this resolution?

i think that is equal to a GTS250/450.. so a bit worse than a GTX 550

i still doubt you could max out the textures in any modern game without at least 1gb vram... you should be able to play anything out right now though at mostly High, some medium settings

i gave me friend my old Geforce GT240 ($20) and it plays Starcraft2 at 1920x1080 Medium.. i think that would have been a better choice honestly since it about as fast as your GTX9800 in modern games and uses less half the power and heat output

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say MW3 would most likely to run at max or near max setting with that card. Skyrim may run at fine with a mix of med-high setting, medium at worst. It is still a decent gaming card, but kinda getting long in the tooth now....
