    PC --> TV via HDMI

    See sig for PC details. I have it connected to my LG 47LV5400 47" LED LCD TV via HDMI --> Mini HDMI cable, no adapters. Resolution is set to 1920x1080. All the text is so small, I have to increase font sizes/zoom on websites and games. I would have thought 1920x1080 on this TV as a computer screen, everything would have been much larger scale. I'm assuming it has something to do with the way the TV processes the resolution, but other than that I have no idea. Can someone explain this to me?
    Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.6Ghz, MSI P67A-G43, Antec Kuhler 920, 16GB (4x4GB) Patriot G2 DDR3 1600, ASUS GTX560 1GB OC @975Mhz, Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD, Seagate 1TB HDD, Antec 650 Earthwatts, Antec 300, Logitech MK710
    Late 2009 21.5" iMac - 3.06ghz C2D, NVidia 9400m, 4gb RAM, 500gb Hard Drive, Magic Mouse
    Steam ID - Entrical85
    Xbox Live Gamertag - Entrical85

    Just set your resolution to something lower. I have a 50" Plasma and I use 1024x768 but try a few and see what they look like. I don't know anything about Nvidia drivers but Catalyst Control Center has a setting that scales the picture to fill the screen no matter what resolution you use. I generally set games to 1680x1050. That looks good on my TV.

    You can adjust OS text scaling by going to (Win7):

    Right click desktop->Screen Resolution->"Make text and other items larger or smaller"->Check Larger->Apply

    For browsers, hold control and scroll the mouse wheel up or down to enlarge the page.

    I highly recommend this over changing the resolution.

    I know about the scroll-to-zoom and the text size adjustment, but it doesn't really help when I'm gaming and trying to read the text box. I'm just curious as to why that low of a resolution on a TV so big looks so small.

    I had that same problem with X3: The Threat.
