Good internal 3.5" card reader?
Buying one for a friend and not very familiar with the ridiculous number of Flash card formats floating around.

Seems like a good deal and is dirt cheap, but I don't see that it supports SDXC. Also, I know the guy I'm buying for uses SD and MicroSD, and this one says it requires an adapter. Would it likely come with an adapter or could I buy one on the cheap, or am I better off just getting a different model?
Anyone wanna recommend something better if that's the way to go? Just need it to support everything without any surprises or annoyances like needing to go buy a bunch of adapters.
Plugging into the mobo's internal USB ports would be awesome if possible.

Sounds good to me... if he wants a mobile one, there are plenty of USB card readers that support pretty much all formats out there...

Nah, half the value is just that his case is missing a 3.5" bay cover and he wants it filled with something... needing an SD/MicroSD card reader is the other half.

Oh if that's the case, just about any brand will do... and so long as most like it on Newegg review, I'd feel comfortable with it...

I used to use Atech Flash brand card readers. Still have one.
Haven't had to buy a new one in a long time. (It supports SDXC)

Thanks guys. Going for a midrange Atech that had 4-star ratings.
