    What is an ithmb file?

    It's some apple iphone file, a picture I think. How do I view it?

    sounds like a thumbnail from the name. try to rename it to .jpg and see if it opens?

    It did not work. The files are big 500k-2megs so they are the size of digital pictures. They are in a directory called ipod photo cache so I am guessing pics.

    Its used by apple and ipods for photos and its also used on PC's for admin files, i open mine on my PC with open-file ( http://www.open-file.com/file-extension-ithmb.htm ) I dont know about Mac's but I dont have one so there you go haha
