Recommend Me A Headset - Sub $40 Bucks
Hey guys i was wondering what kind of headset you all use. Im looking for a comfy headset that i can use when im playing battlefeild, wow etc. I was told sarcastically by a friend that if im not spending over 40 to 50 bucks i doesn't matter which ones i pick up. So i have been eyeing these noise hush n700m. they are a mono bluetooth headset with a mic and a cushion ear cone. I was also told to check out the Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2. So lets have it, make my decisions for me dammit!

My <3 goes to an old pair of Sennheiser 595s for listening all day to, but they're a little pricey.
For cheaper phones I've had good luck with plantronics over-ear models. They will run you 30-70 dollars depending on the model.

I would recommend the Ear Force X12 for your budget. Amp built in to them and microphone built in. If you want a decent experience I would avoid mono sound like the first option you mentioned.
I personally use the HD598's and they're costly but I have yet to find anything remotely close to comparable.

steelseries sibera v2 go on sale regularly for under $40... they dont compare to $100-200 sennheiser or grados for music but they are solid for the price in gaming and look nice

For blasting sound.

For comfort.
Both of those combined are $40 and have much better specs than the shiny stuff. Not just specs either, but technology based on decades of tweaking.
The best headphones I ever heard are from the 70's, Denon AH-D1001. Extremely rare and precious. The only thing that impresses me about modern stuff are large, heavy bass magnets (which both of those headphones I listed are), without distortion at ALL frequencies (not just highs and lows).

neither of those have mics... while i agree they are great headphones for music listening... gaming has different priorities
