Paragon, more rares (LOTS more), legendary items are now actually legendary and a few other small little things they have changed. Of course, most of these little extras in the patch only count for level 60's. Like nephalem valor (think that was patch 1.0.3) But hey you can be power leveled real easy then play the crap of it on inferno. I do recommend doing a play through on normal at least once just to get the feel for it though otherwise you will feel rushed and not see the story since we just skip it.
Agreed.

Demetrius I of Macedon was offended when the Spartans sent his court a single envoy, and exclaimed angrily, "What! Have the Lacedaemonians sent no more than one ambassador?" The Spartan responded, "Aye, one ambassador to one king."
Yeah, I haven't logged in either. Torchlight 2 is holding my interest now for the "action rpg hack n' slash" genre. I was tempted to try out Mists of Pandaria, but have no interest in that either.
New Build (Oct. 2012)

I downloaded Torchlight 2 the day before I picked up Diablo 3 and haven't touched Torchlight 2 since. I will definitely play the heck out of both of them but Diablo 3 has not been a let down for me.

yeah i also regret paying the full $60 for D3 at launch.... hype wins again
all these blockbuster publishers pretty much make $$$ no matter what kind of turd they push out and we keep buying it while lots of great smaller devs go bankrupt... sad times
I can count on one hand the amount of full priced games I've bought in the last couple years. There are only a couple developers I trust to buy immediately.

Be glad you didnt play D3 on release day, week, or month. They have made alot of changes for the better but the early days just burned me so hard that I dont think I can pick it up again.
I'm still waiting for PvP to drop. I think it could be interesting.
I'm not "waiting for it" the way people are who are grinding away for gear, but hoping that it might end up being like NOX, which I miss dearly. Probably not going to happen if it's 2v2, but if they can implement 4v4 or 8v8 I will put hours into this game like no tomorrow.
The two games I miss the most are by the same studio, NOX and Red Alert. Westwood made amazing multiplayer experiences. RIP.

well, blizzard was a part of the group of "trusted devs" for me until D3

Same here. The only other devs that gets my money day one currently are Naughty Dog, Double Fine and Telltale (when it's an IP I love). I've had The Last of Us preordered for some time, got The Walking Dead and BttF day one as well as all of Double Fine's "mini" projects (and before that Brutal Legend was a letdown simply because of the tacked on strategy that had no place in the game). I wish I had the time to get into Torchlight 2. I've heard the character progression isspectacular. I loved the 1st and will get it eventually, it's just that my backlog is too damn big atm.

I really liked Torchlight 2 but I would not classify any part of that game "spectacular".

That's a bummer. What else besides the drops did they change?

Currently on pay-through 5 on Torchlight 2, taking a break from it.
Playing the heck out of Titan's Quest Immortal Throne ATM, received vanilla with the THQ Humble Bundle and liked it so much I bought Immortal Throne for it on steam.
