Interesting that they seem to be aiming for a quantum co-processor of some kind instead of a computer that's quantum-based from the ground up. Perhaps it does make more sense in the short run as otherwise a lot of software that runs perfectly fine right now would need to be rewritten from the ground up.
Makes sense to start with something small get it established in the market place and then go on to changing over the entire computer. That would require changing computing completely. Seriously, since graphics is infinitely parallel image what a quantum GPU could do.
