Sandia is so cool. Can't wait to see some of these in action. The claim is ridiculous though, 30x more efficient?

It may be true though. I want to see it real world tested to make sure.

The video shows it in action as a stand alone device - not hooked into a fully built computer. I'm going to bet that they are going to need a chasse around that cooler so the cables don't get tangled. That's going to leave you with a giant boxy item taking up a lot of the mobo space.

MOBO: Biostar TZ68K+ Intel Z68 ATX
    CPU: Intel Core i7-2700K
    RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
    CPU COOLING:Corsair Hydro Series H80
VIDEO: MSI TWIN FROZR II GeForce GTX 570
    HDD: Intel 320-160GB SSD
    HDD: 250GB WD SATA
    HDD: 1TB WD SATA
    HDD: 500WD SATA
    MEDIA: Plextor Dual DVD
    PSU: CORSAIR HX750 750W
CASE: Antec Twelve Hundred V3 ATX Full Tower
OS: WIN 7 x64 Home Premium
    Monitor: Westinghouse 32" LCD 1080p

That's just an engineering sample to confirm proof of concept. I'm sure when or if heaksink manufacturers design one for the consumer market, it will look much different.
