The second playthrough gets pretty rough near the end. Unless you are a level over the main quests your gonna have a really hard time.

I definitely notice plateaus here and there. However death isn't really punished as money is basically worthless in the game except for buying ammo, so it's not a big deal.

What they really nailed in this game is making some really cool areas. A few are still kind of boring, but for example the area where you first meet Mordecai is so diverse and fun.

The writing is all over the place. Handsome Jack is really great, all the returning cast is great, etc. But the Zoologist guy who you meet at the very beginning of the game sounds like he was written by some neckbeard reddit kid, Tiny Tina is borderline unbearable, and so on. I could also do without all the internet meme stuff they put into the game, I feel like that's a really bad trend in gaming right now. Make up your own funny jokes, don't just take some stupid trollface or whatever thing and put it in your game.

Tiny Tina is hilarious..... My 13 year old sister is pretty much a little less crude version of her. I think they nailed the "weirdo" teenage girl thing perfectly. IMO

Tiny Tina reminds me of the girl from the Gathering of the Juggalos infomercial mixed with a mall goth. Maybe they nailed the persona they were going for, but I don't need that in a video game.

I have the perfect weapons loadout for my Zer0 right now, and I'm dreading the time when I'm too high-level for them to be good anymore. Three Maliwan elemental snipers with corrosive, shock, and fire elemental effects, and three assault rifles, one with each elemental effect (explosive weapons are pretty useless for the most part IMO). A bandit AR with fire elemental damage and a ~150 round magazine, and Maliwan ARs for the other two elemental effects. I also have a mediocre corrosive pistol because you really can't have enough ammo for your corrosive weapons in this game. I'm running a standard crit-focused build right now, but will definitely try the melee build sometime during NG+.

I really wanted to like shotguns and SMGs in this game, but I find ARs to be superior to SMGs for most uses, and shotguns to be pretty useless in general even though they're fun.

I've got a gatling gun AR that is 1433 explosive damage per shot w/ a 54 round mag. It's been my go to weapon for 5 levels now when sniper rifles aren't dealing nearly enough damage, and people are too close for rockets.

Tiny Tina is awesome. I feel like they may have more or less grafted her personality into the Mechromancer though. So I'm not sure if I can take an entire game of Tiny Tina.

Just hit my first glitch in the game. I spent most of this week cleaning up the remaining challenges I had left on my Commando. Once I had everything but the multiplayer ones done, I started playing the DLC. upon checking my challenges again, a good chunk (but not all) of them are now completely undone. Not sure what caused that but it's a bit frustrating.
