Sorry if this is one of those "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!" questions but, there only seems to be two posts in this whole forum? what's up with that btw?
anyway, What's the best malware removal software these days? It could be a freeware, shareware, or paid program.
I would also take a look at (the free) Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 -- it updates itself after you boot from the CD so is useful even for the Shutdowner trojan, and it seems to often find stuff that Antimalwarebytes has missed.
Use the software on this page to make a Bootable CD (the CD is about 250 MB).
The bootable CD runs from Boot and would scan and clean the computer.
Its free as good as any of the others, and most important, because it is a micro soft product it does not have side effects as some of the 3rd party tools do.

.
What page? If Micro Soft has a bootable CD with this setup, that would be a cool tool to add to me bag of tools.
Thanks
Check out D7 here It's designed for technicians and is a great tool, however be careful as it could do a great deal of damage if you don't know what your doing.
